Jan Baptiste Greuze : Young Girl Holding a Dove
cînd ai să-l chemi are să fie sus.
LIKE A WHITE BIRD
Like a white bird his soul is standing in my palm
what seed should I find for him and what song should I ask to him
what fire stopped him, Lord, in this silence
from his way to heaven ?
He came with his wings down
with fear and sadness I stopped beside him
he seemed to have eyes on his whole body
he looked like your cherubs when they showed to Ezekiel.
Around I saw the cloud he came
and its four unseen faces
and the four beryl wheels
that carried him where you tell them.
He ordered him to stay in my palms, I said
in his wheel is the spirit that has brought him
God, does not punish those who catch the souls like birds
when you'll call him he'll come up.
