Rumor of the Day: Victoria to Open a Store in NYC?

According to the latest rumors, Victoria is planning on opening a luxury outlet on classy 5th Avenue in NYC. She reportedly wants to set up a shop near Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Dolce & Gabbana.

"Victoria's denim range is already on sale at Saks departmentstore on 5th Avenue but since launching her own collection three years ago she believes it is about time she had her very own boutique there," reveals a source.

The former Spice Girl is also planning to sell her range online: "Victoria may well have already achieved success with her clothing line but, for the past few months, she has been working on a plan so people can buy her clothes with the touch of a button. Of course Victoria will be a stay at home mum for the next few months...so that is why she has come up with a plan to expand her fashion empire and control it form her laptop at home."

I hope this rumor eventually turns out to be true. It would be amazing to have a store dedicated to VB pieces so that if you're in the NY area, you don't have to run around and hunt for certain items. An ecommerce site would also be wonderful! I know there is NAP, but they do have a limited stock. If she added a purchase feature to her website where you could actually buy her items would be wonderful!

Rumor of the Day: Harper's First Shoes will be... Louboutins?

Now that the Beckhams finally have a bouncing baby girl, the rumors are sure to start swirling about her soon to be, undoubtedly, enviable wardrobe. The first one... about the baby's footwear. With a mom who is an avid fan of designer shoes, rumors are that little Harper's first pair of baby booties will be designed by one of her mom's favorites... Christian Louboutin.

Rumor has it that Victoria has reportedly commissioned Christian Louboutin to make a pair of his famous shoes for her baby daughter and has even asked the designer to put his famous red soles on the bottom of the exclusive baby shoes.

Not sure how much I believe this one... I'm sure little Harper will definitely have many Louboutins in the future but this is a little extreme. What do you all think?

Rumor of the Day: David to Stay as Galaxy Coach After Contract Ends this Year

David Beckham will be offered the chance to stay on as a player-coach at Los Angeles Galaxy when his five-year deal expires in November.

Becks, 36, reaches the end of the huge contract he signed when he left Real Madrid for LA in 2007, at the end of the current MLS Season.

The Galaxy will offer Beckham the chance to play on for another term, while also taking more of a role in Bruce Arena’s backroom team.

And the new deal would allow Beckham to return to European football from January to April next year.

Beckham spent three months training with Tottenham last season and had spells at AC Milan in the previous two seasons.

Beckham and his advisors have had initial discussions over his future, but nothing has yet been finalised. As People Sport revealed back in 2009, Beckham has a clause in his MLS contract which lets him buy a franchise once he hangs up his boots.

And he and Simon Fuller – who looks after Beckham’s business affairs – are still keen for that to happen.

The Only Santa Coming to the Beckhams will be at Christmas

For those of you who were honestly believing that Victoria and David were going to name their daughter... uh.. Santa, rest assured as VB's team has laughed off those rumors (thank goodness).

Victoria Beckham's team has laughed off stories that the designer may be set to call her baby girl Santa Beckham. The story emerged in the Sun newspaper claiming Victoria was inspired by Santa Monica, near where the family lives, but a spokesperson told us there is no truth in the rumours.

"This is simply tabloid nonsense," Beckham's representative told us.

Will Kate Middleton Wear Victoria Beckham To The Royal Reception?

Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Kate Betts believes that soon-to-be princess Kate Middleton will wear a Victoria Beckham piece to an evening reception following her big day.

Betts bets Middleton will be wearing two very modern designers when she walks down the aisle and celebrates her newfound princess-hood.

“I think she’ll wear McQueen for Westminster Abbey, and I think she’ll wear Victoria Beckham to the evening party,” Betts told StyleIte.

McQueen rumors notwithstanding, we think Beckham is a really interesting pick — but it makes sense. As far as we can tell, Beckham is the only designer who’s been invited to the wedding. Betts just might be on to something.

Rumor of the Day: Becks & Snoop... Designer Duo?

It looks as though David Beckham has got baby fever on the brain ever since he announced his missus, Victoria Beckham, was pregnant with their fourth baby – but now he’s turning his attention to baby grows.

Thanks to his A-list pal Snoop Dogg – and soon-to-be godfather of his baby girl – the pair are set to launch their own range of kid’s clothes after they reunite in the UK in July this year.

And apparently Snoop has already sketched out some fly designs in preparation for the massive design collaboration, reports the Mirror.

The pair became best buddies back in 2008 when Becks appeared in Snoop’s E! show Fatherhood – but it looks as though the LA Galaxy star has the Dogg to thank for his latest baby joy news…

“I said that after their 11th anniversary they should have some more kids and romance to some Snoop tunes,” explains the rapper. “Now he’s having a beautiful girl to play with my daughter Chocolate.”

After David confirmed that they do know what the sex of the baby is but are keeping it private until the right time, rumors have been swiriling on what the new baby will be. To fuel rumors of a little girl, there has been talk that actress and Victoria's BFF Eva Longoria has booked LA’s Chateau Marmont Hotel for a baby shower in July, when the child is due. "They know the sex of their baby, which is helpful for Eva – she plans to fill the suite with balloons, and rumour has it that they will be pink, not blue."

Rumor of the Day: The Beckhams are Expecting a Baby Girl

If the latest rumours are to be believed, there will be one very well dressed baby girl in our midst come the summer. Speculation is mounting that Victoria Beckham is expecting her long-wished for daughter.

Reports today claim that the pregnant star is 'over the moon' after discovering the happy news during a 16-week scan.

A representative for the 36-year-old declined to comment on the reports today.

But according to the Sun, Victoria had a 4D scan at the private Rivers Hospital in Sawbridgeworth, Herts, where doctors were able to confirm the gender of the baby. Typically, a baby's sex can only be determined at 20 weeks with a regular ultrasound scan.

Rumor: David Wants Premier League Return After LA Contract Ends

David Beckham is now unlikely to play for Tottenham Hotspur where he is currently training and will return to the LA Galaxy in mid-February. However in the summer his representatives plan to negotiate a permanent move for the 35-year-old away from America and back to European club football.

A friend of the midfielder told the Guardian: "It now seems almost definite that David will not play for Spurs but he is still training, which was always the plan, and he will be back with the Galaxy by the middle of February.

"In the summer when he has only six months left on his contract and is effectively a free agent, [his agents] will sit down and negotiate for him to make a move. There are a number of options and interested clubs. David still believes he has a lot to offer at the highest level."

It is understood Beckham's preferred choice would be a Premier League club that will compete in next season's Champions League. With ambitions still to play for England, Beckham understands he must be performing regularly for as high a ranking club as possible.

Becks reportedly cried when Posh told him she was pregnant with their fourth child…Not just once but over and over again.. aww!

Victoria broke the news during a trip back to London last November over a romantic meal at home.

“She started a conversation about their future as a family and whether it should be in the UK or US, ” a source says. But when he said they have three children to think about, she smiled and said ‘four’. “He told her he couldn’t have wished for better news. He’s so happy, he can’t stop crying!”

Now that was a rumor I doubted from the very beginning!

Despite reports that soccer star David Beckham and wife Victoria are looking to move to Manhattan, the couple's publicists told the NY Daily News they have no plans to become New Yorkers anytime soon.

"There is no truth to the story," reps for both David and Victoria told the Daily News Wednesday.

Rumor of the Day: The Beckhams Moving to NYC?

Victoria Beckham may love America, but Los Angeles just isn’t her thing. That’s right, Victoria is moving her fashionable family across the country to our homebase of New York. Maybe she’ll even hang out at the Styleite office and order in Indian food with us!

David currently plays soccer for the Los Angeles Galaxy, which is why the Beckhams moved to the States in the first place. Alas, Victoria is now a serious designer, so California just won’t suffice: “My work is so important to me and LA just isn’t a real fashion city.” We can’t disagree with that, but we also may be a little biased.

We thought New York might be in the family’s plans when Victoria told WWD that New York could be the location of her first store because “New York sounds quite fabulous.” In that same interview she gushed about how much she loved America: “We’ve loved it from the minute that we arrived, so we have no plans on going back to the U.K. at all.”

Though David will continue to play for the Galaxy (and stay at the family’s Beverly Hills manse when he has games), he’ll be based pretty far from his team. A source explains: ”Her friendship group in L.A. has disbanded and David was traveling a lot more than she’d anticipated and so was she. It just seemed to make sense for her to be based in fashion capital New York. It’s closer to London and Europe for her business meetings.”

*I find this extremely hard to believe. I highly doubt the Beckhams will make a move to NYC. They may purchase something there in the future as a place to stay while they are in the city, but both Victoria and David have professed their love of LA and I can't see them being anywhere else. Any opinons on this new rumor?

Rumor of the Day: The Beckhams to Exchange Custom Gifts

It has been so incredibly slow in Beckhamland lately that the media is now speculating on what they are going to give each other for Christmas. Here is a really interesting rumor story from Digital Spy:

David and Victoria Beckham are to exchange expensive customised gifts for Christmas, according to the Daily Star. The pair are said to have picked out luxury items during a shopping visit to Harrods. David has reportedly requested gold-plated headphones worth £1,500, while Victoria is thought to have asked for an £800 white crystal iPad cover.

A source said: "David and Victoria like to do things in style so these presents are perfect for them. They already have everything money can buy so wanted to indulge in something a bit different this Christmas." The married couple have also apparently ordered Dr. Dre headphones with black haematite crystals for their three sons - Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz - from the CrystalRoc range.

Rumor of the Day: Victoria & David to Meet Kate Middleton Over Tea?

Kate Middleton is reported to be meeting up with Victoria Beckham.

Victoria Beckham is thrilled about her latest diary date - joining Prince William and Kate Middleton for afternoon tea. 'Both parties are very excited about it,' says a source close to the star. 'David, Victoria and the kids are spending Christmas in the UK so William thought it would be lovely to have them over. Victoria is really excited. She can't wait to meet them, particularly Kate.'

Football legend David became close to the future king during the 2018 World Cup bid last month. 'They spent a lot of time together and communicating by phone,' the source tells The People.

Whether Posh, 36, and Becks will be invited to next year's royal wedding remains to be seen, but a friend of David's reveals: 'He would be delighted to get an invitation.'
