Celebrities in VB: Candice Swanepoel in Victoria Beckham Spring 2009

Victoria's Secret Bombshell, Candice Swanepoel hosted a dinner party in honor of the unveiling of the new VS Fantasies body care and fragrance collection at the Chateau Marmont on July 19th in LA and to the event she wore the lovely Barbazan dress, #8, from Victoria's debut collection (spring 2009). This dress is amazing on her! It is still one of my all time favorties... even after several collections!

VB Fall 2011 Items I'm Currently Lusting Over...

The entire Victoria Beckham fall 2011 collection (dresses, denim, handbags, and eyewear) was one of very my favorites. There are so many pieces I completely fell in love with but the following are a few items I'm currently lusting over...

- Peplum Pea coat: Ever since this was uploaded to NAP I've been in love!
- Twist Ankle Zip in Wax Black: These may be the one thing I have to buy this upcoming season! Ever since Victoria wore them at the airport several months ago, I've been on a hunt!
- Classic Aviator in Sky: Thank you David for modeling these so well!!
- Fine Square in Tortoise: These remind me of the sunglasses I share with Victoria - the Cutler & Gross 0811!
- Victoria in shiny black alligator: I'm literally drooling over this bag! Talk about stunning! Watch out Hermes!
- Satchel in shiny burgundy alligator: A simple a chic bag with a luxurious color and material that can be worn to a variety of events.

Are there any particular items you guys are lusting over??

Who Wore it Better: Victoria, Carol, Selita, or Giada?

Four fabulous women have all worn the cut out fitted dress, #40, from Victoria's spring 2010 collection over the span of the past three years. Each woman has made the dress uniquely theres buy adding different accessories, hairstyles, and shoes.

Victoria was first to wear this piece during London Fashion week back in 2009. She added her signature over sized sunglasses, matching dove gray YSL pumps, a headband, and minimal jewelry to make it hers. VS model Selita Ebanks was second to wear it to an event where she paired it with sequin Louboutin pumps, a silver clutch, simple jewelry (which consisted of a bangle, diamond studs, and a ring), and a chic hair do that put her gorgeous face on full display. Carol Vorderman, a huge fan of Victoria's dresses, was third to wear it and she paired the dress with nude Louboutin peep toe maryjanes, a silver bracelet, and heavy eye make up. Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis was the most recent celebrity to don this VB design and she kept it to a minimal by removing the gross grain belt and hip wings and adding an elegant up do and nude peep toes.

So who wore it better? For me, this is a tie between Victoria and Selita who both rocked the hell outta this dress. Carol's hair, makeup, and shoes don't really work for me and Giada looks a bit too plain jane. What do you all think?

Elle Macpherson: Victoria's Designs are 'Timeless'

Elle Macpherson has revealed she wears Victoria Beckham's designs whenever possible because she loves how flattering they are for her figure and they embody the way she likes to dress.

The supermodel is hugely impressed with how the former Spice Girl has reinvented herself as a respected fashion designer and says Victoria's simple, elegant designs are "beautiful" and "timeless".

She explained: "I think Victoria is one of the smartest businesswomen around. She has really taken that brand and followed her dreams when people said that she couldn't do it and that's what I really love about her. She's always been fascinated and passionate about fashion and she found the best people she could to make dresses that fit like a glove. They're really beautiful, they're timeless and they come to the knee. For me, they make the body look amazing and they're very simple. They really embody the way that I like to dress and she has really tapped into it and does it better than anybody."

Elle admitted she tries not to wear to same dresses as Victoria because she believes she will never look as good. She explained to Scotland's Daily Record: "Unfortunately when you see her in a dress and then you in a dress, you think, 'Oh gosh, better not pick that one!'"

Who Wore it Better: Victoria Beckham or Olivia Palermo?

Both Victoria Beckham and Olivia Palermo have been spotted in this lovely tangerine dress from VB's spring 2011 collection. Mrs. Beckham was first to wear it back in November when she was the invited guest speaker during the International Herald Tribune Heritage Luxury Conference at theInterContinental Hotel London. She paired the dress with lovely Chanel pumps and a chic ponytail. Socialite Olivia Palermo also wore the dress when she recently attended the after party for the Cinema Society & Grey Goose screening of "The Ledge" at Penthouse (PH-D) at Dream Downtown on June 21st in NYC. Olivia added leopard pumps and a hot pink clutch.

So who wore it better? As much as I adore Olivia's leopard pumps with this dress, I really dislike the pink clutch paired with it so Victoria wins this for me. What do you guys think?

Celebrities in VB: Giada De Laurentiis in Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 - #40

Celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis attended the Foundation Polo Challenge at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club in Carpentaria, CA on Saturday and to the event she wore the Cut Out Fitted dress, #40, from Victoria's spring 2010 collection. This is Giada's second time in a VB design.

For me, this look is a bit blah... it's really missing the wow factor that the gross grain belt and hip wings give it. It would've looked great if she wore the runway version with a pair of black peep toes or strappy black sandals. What do you all think of the look?

Kate, Eva, and Kelly Wow in Victoria Beckham Dresses

Actress Kate Winslet attended the "Yo Dona" International Awards at the Palacio de Cristal de Arganzuela on June 21, 2011 in Madrid and to the event she wore the lescot dress, #24, from Victoria's sophomore collection (fall 2009). This dress may be familiar to you all because Elle Macpherson, Victoria, and Melanie C have already worn it. Kate does look fabulous though!

Victoria's BFF Eva Longoria looked sensational at the Conference to introduce the Children's Act for Responsible Employment on June 16th. This dress was not featured in Victoria's runway presentation but it will be produced as part of the fall 2011 collection. I love how she matched her shoes to the top of her dress! And I adore the vibrant red bottom half.

X Factor US's newest star Kelly Rowland, who is also a fan of Victoria's designs, wore the tangerine Panelled Waist Tunic Dress, #79, from the spring 2011 collection. She experimented with the biggest trend of the spring/summer - color blocking - and paired it with cobalt blue suede Louboutin Daffodile pumps. That orange is stunning on her and I love the complimentary blue pop with the shoes.

Victoria Unveils a New & More Affordable Dress Line

As anyone with a passing interest in the tabloid side of celebrity knows, Victoria Beckham is about to have a baby. Though prior to gender confirmation she was loath to admit it, this mother of three gorgeous boys was, understandably, rooting for a girl this time. Now, the baby’s sex long confirmed, Beckham floats the notion that her daughter has already influenced her work, hormonally speaking.

The designer muses about a possible impact of the pregnancy on Victoria by Victoria Beckham, her new don’t-call-it-a-secondary-dress-collection due for fashion delivery for spring 2012. The two projects have been in the works for about the same time, give or take. Beckham recalls that early on when she informed her staff of her baby news after first being told she was having a boy, “One of my team said, ‘It would be funny if you found out you were having a girl.’ Because this is the most girly collection I’ve ever created.

The girliest, youngest and, set to retail primarily in the $550 and $900 range, most accessible. Beckham characterizes the new dress line as representing her “other side,” the alter ego to her more glam self as manifested in the Victoria Beckham line, now in its sixth season. Her de facto chief executive officer, the charmingly untitled Zach Duane, refers to the launch in more concrete terms. “We had to do something,” he says, “or we’d be a niche brand forever.”

Inspired by the cartoon character Emily the Strange, an edgy adolescent often followed by four cats who dresses on that line where cute meets chic (and who has her very own brand), this collection centers on a loosened silhouette. “These are the kind of dresses I’ve been searching for,” notes Beckham, who admits to being her own archetypal customer. If she won’t wear it, it doesn’t make the line. “The perfect little summer dress, something that was fun, something that was girly, something that was easy to wear, something that would take you from day through the night.”

The girlishness and whimsy come through in the clean, vaguely Sixties shapes; vibrant colors and design details, such as scalloped edges and pleating; they should show up as well in a series of not-ready-to-shoot conversational prints. These include clouds, moons and, in the spirit of Emily, two of the kitty variety, one “Victoria Cat” and the other, “Cutey Cat.”

Where I am currently, I like a more modern attitude,” Beckham explains. (In her main line, as well, she has in recent seasons introduced alternatives to her signature hyper-curvy shapes.) “Also, it means that I’m opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured."

This makes me so excited because maybe now I can afford to buy atleast one! Can't wait to see the rest of the collection! I really love the colors and the playfulness of the silhouettes. What are your opinions on the new line? Anyone going to start saving up?

Celebrities in VB: Olivia Palermo in Victoria Beckham Spring 2011 - #73

Socialite Olivia Palermo attended the Cinema Society & Grey Goose screening of "The Ledge" at Landmark Sunshine Cinema on June 21st in New York City. To the event, she wore the lovely mandarin orange 3/4 Sleeve Crew Neck Shift dress, #73, from Victoria's spring 2011 collection. She paired the look with a simple updo, leopard pumps, and a pink clutch. I really love the leopard pumps with the dress but I could do without the clutch.

Celebrities in VB: Danielle Lineker in Victoria Beckham Spring 2011 - #89

The gorgeous Danielle Lineker attended the Royal Ascot this week and to the event she dressed up in a stunning Victoria Beckham piece that looked amazing on her! Danielle, aka Mrs. Gary Lineker, wore the blush V-neck bell dress, #89, from the spring 2011 collection. She accessorized with an over sized hat and a pair of suede Louboutins that perfectly complimented the gross-grain belt of the dress. LOVELY!

Katherine Jenkins to be Styled by Victoria Beckham

Don't expect any wardrobe disasters on Popstar To Operastar from Katherine Jenkins. The preened mezzo-soprano tells us she’s being styled by Victoria Beckham.

Welsh star Katherine, 30, says she’s managed to get fashion designer Victoria to send her frocks. “I’m really lucky, she sends me dresses now,” says Katherine, who is engaged to Welsh TV presenter Gethin Jones.

She’s lovely. I’ve met her a few times and she knows I’m a big fan. They’re just the most beautiful outfits.” But while she enjoys wearing couture on the show she isn’t such a fan of being a judge.

I like the mentoring part but not the bit where I have to choose who to send home,” she says, referring to her decision to send Midge Ure home last weekend. “I had to decide within seconds – did I do the right thing? Even my own mother gave me a doubtful look.”

Victoria Beckham at ASOS.com??

No, no, no, don’t get too excited. Posh is not designing for ASOS, but the British mega store has created a line of dresses that are exact, yes exact, replicas of Ms. Beckham’s threads. I mean, is this legal?

Some of Posh’s most classic looks are duplicated in amazingly chic color choices at ridiculously reasonable prices. The simple lines, the modern edge, the subtle femininity-it’s all there.

My personal favorite is the Ponti Pencil Dress in Empress Purple but then again, there is the Peplum Pencil Dress that is also TDF. How does one choose when the wardrobe of fashion royalty is at our fingertips?

These dresses are investment pieces, without the major investment. They can go from office to drinks, wedding to upscale date night. Or if you are really in the Posh kind of mood, you can wear them on the airplane with your three (almost four!) kids in tow with 4 inch heels…bring it!

The possibilities for these dresses are endless. The best part is, the sophisticated lines in classic colors make these dresses timeless. This will be your go-to dress for all occasions, time and time again.

ASOS even has a “Victoria Beckham” tab that allows you to search all of her looks and even some similar accessories. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel, you just can’t miss. Take your pick ladies, effortless style is at your fingertips!

NOTE: David Bechkham not included!

Celebrities in VB: Katherine Jenkins in Victoria Beckham Spring 2010 - #46

The Glamour "Women of the Year" awards were held last night at Berkerley Square in London. The event was full of fabulous people and fashions. The Victoria Beckham Collection took home the award for best accessories and her dresses were even mentioned... in the form of Katherine Jenkins who looked incredible in the Tower with Grosgrain Panel dress, #46, from her spring 2010 collection. Katherine is a huge fan of the VB Collection and it's clear to see why... every single one of the designs she has worn fit her like a glove and look amazing on!

Who Wore it Better: Brooklyn Decker or Jennifer Hudson?

Blush pink is definitely a huge color in the Victoria Beckham spring 2011 collection. Another trend of the collection is structured pencil dresses (which is a VB staple). This stunningly simplistic sleeveless obi seamed fitted dress, #84, embodies both of the top spring qualities.

Brooklyn Decker was first to wear this dress to the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on April 3rd. She showed off a fabulously flirty shorter hairdo which I loved on her! Brooklyn paired the look with simple pointed pumps. Jennifer Hudson followed in her footsteps when she wore the same design on May 2nd to the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert to Benefit FFAWN. Jennifer looked amazing showing off her fabulous figure in the body hugging design and Louboutin peeptoe booties.

So who wore it better? This is a tough call for me because I love aspects of both. I adore Brooklyn's hairstyle and how it showcases the offset neckline of the dress but I much perfer Jennifer's shoes... so it's more or less a tie for me. What do you guys think?

Celebrities in VB: Gisele Bundchen in Victoria Beckham

Last month, mega supermodel Gisele Bundchen stepped out in not one, but two gorgeous Victoria Beckham designs.

The first was May 5th when she attended the 2011 Global Environment Citizen Awards which was held in her honor at The Harvard Club in NYC. To the event she wore a black cap sleeve pencil dress which she paired with nude Louboutin pumps, a silver clutch, and a glimmering diamond necklace which was front and center thanks to an elegant updo.

The next time was five days later on May10th when she attended the ceremony for the UN's Flagship Environment Award in NYC. She looked amazing in a white v-neck dress that had a black grosgrain belt which she paired with satin Louboutin peep toes and minimal jewelry. Love her hair here!

Victoria was so excited about Gisele wearing her dresses that she tweeted the following message: "My favourite super model wearing #victoriabeckham AMAZING!!!!!! So beautiful!!! X vb".
