Am rupt acest trandafir.

Dico parole,
Per prendere aria.
Mi addormento,
Per non sapere piu.
Taglio pane,
Per rallegrare la mia madre.
Ascolto la merla,
Per non mentire.
Guardo il tiglio,
Per non dimenticare.
Ho rotto questa rosa.

For taking air.
I fall asleep,
For no more knowing.
I cut the bread,
For cheering my mother.
I listen to the blackbird,

I look to the lime tree,
