Summer time is almost here! With summer comes wonderful days and nights on the thousands of great lakes, rivers, and beaches across the country. A bikini set is a classic type of two piece. It's a great swimsuit choice to reveal a daring, sexy, stylish 'you'. The best bikinis are made with high quality Lycra and are as unique as the buyer. Bikini tops can be bought to add padding, a lifting effect, or back support. In addition to having this classic swimsuit piece, it is easily paired with different colors, cover ups, skirts, hats, or shoes to give a different look for each time worn.

Whether just purchasing one string bikini or several with all your friends, 2011 is full of lots of awesome styles that are accommodating to every girl's figure. While last year was all about neon colors like electric yellow, blue and green, this year is all about a crossover between girly pieces and tomboyish styles. Here's a quick overview of what you're in for.

This year promises to be interesting when it comes to water wear. Summertime is probably the most anticipated season of the year, because most people are getting semester breaks and working in a little time for relaxation and trips to the beach - or local pool. When it comes to dressing up for hot and sticky weather, there's no law that says you can't do it with style.

Over the years swimsuits have evolved to become an actual facet of style, rather than just a uniform that somebody wears when it's time to get wet. During the nineteen forties and fifties, suits were usually short one-piece black styles with ruffles around the edges or polka-dots. If you've ever seen pictures of Marilyn Monroe, you get the idea. It was elegant and now it's making a comeback in one way or another.

One pieces are coming back with a glamorous makeover. Instead of polka-dots stylists are opting for floral patterns and lines of lace. It's a cross between flirty and feminine and playful tomboyish styles. It's a lot of fun. Another style gaining momentum is the push-up top, which basically adds a little extra help for ladies who aren't as heavy up top as others. Another way to create the illusion of more cleavage is by purchasing pieces with lots of ruffles or stripes.

String bikinis and thongs are usually in fashion every year, just in different forms. This year the form comes in floral patterns. What's great about this style is that it's adjustable. You can tighten or loosen it to your liking, rather than being subject to a closed seam. Plus, the dangling pieces of fabric are cute and actually add an illusion of longer legs.

Regardless of your body type, there's a style for everybody. Long and lean girls have a pretty broad style palette to choose from. Opt for ruffles and busy patterns up top to draw the eye up. Also, you can wear pretty much any bottom because you're blessed with nice long legs that look great with any suit. Push-ups, polka-dots and one-pieces with skirts are also flattering.

Petite girls want to opt for bottoms that add to their legs and draw the eye up to their smaller chest area. These includes skirts, swimming shorts and bottoms with buckles or loose ties on the sides. Your top should be ruffled or twisted over in the middle to create an illusion of cleavage, or, if you'd prefer, simply wear a once piece. Retro patterns are lots of fun and usually pretty unique to the beach.

If you have a curvy or pear shape, then skirts are the best for you. They accentuate your natural curves and draw the eyes up and away from your hips, adding length to your legs. Once again, polka-dots are flattering for you. In fact, they're flattering for just about everybody, except for people who don't prefer that style!
